Performing nerve conduction studies in your office allows you to:

    •   Provides information that aid in a speedy diagnosis.

    •   Eliminate the need for your patients to travel to an outside facility.

Nerve conduction studies are appropriate for the following patients:

•   Those with a suspected  or unconfirmed neuropathy: diabetic, uremic, metabolic or immune.

•
Those with suspected compression neuropathies, such as: carpal tunnel syndrome, entrapment at the elbow, tarsal tunnel syndrome or entrapment at the fibular head.

•
Those with suspected neuromuscular junction disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis, Myasthenic Syndrome.  These differential diagnoses are confirmed with repetitive nerve stimulation.

•
Symptom based complaints such as weakness, disturbances in skin sensation provided the clinical assessments which support the need for the study.
